What’s Included in a Premium Vehicle Service at Ultimate Car Expert Jindalee

Premium Vehicle Service

A basic oil change replaces oil and a filter. Our Premium Vehicle Service does that too, but it’s built around one extra question most quick services skip: what condition is the rest of the car actually in, and is there anything building up inside the engine and fuel system that a simple oil swap won’t touch?

Here’s exactly what’s included and what each part is actually doing.

1. Engine Oil Flush (BG Engine Oil Flush & BG EPR)

Over tens of thousands of kilometres, especially with irregular oil changes or a lot of short trips that never let the engine fully warm up, deposits build up inside an engine: sticky varnish on piston rings, sludge in oil galleries, gum around valve train components. None of that shows up on a dipstick check.

Before we drain your old oil, we run BG Engine Oil Flush and BG EPR (Engine Performance Restoration) through the system at operating temperature. It softens and dissolves those deposits so they leave with the old oil at drain time instead of staying behind, which helps free up piston rings that have started sticking and clears the passages that feed components like turbochargers and hydraulic valve actuators.

The honest caveat: BG’s own product guidance is clear that this treatment isn’t for engines with already-excessive sludge buildup, since dislodging heavy deposits in a badly neglected engine can do more harm than good. That’s part of why this is assessed during your inspection rather than poured in automatically. Where it’s appropriate, which is the large majority of cars on a normal service schedule, it makes a real, measurable difference to how clean the internals stay.

2. Fuel System Service (BG Platinum 44K)

Modern petrol engines, particularly direct-injection (GDI) designs, are more prone to carbon buildup on intake valves and injectors than older engines, because fuel no longer washes across the back of the intake valve on its way into the cylinder. Combined with variable fuel quality at the pump, that buildup shows up as hesitation, a rougher idle, reduced power, and worse fuel economy, sometimes within the first 15,000 to 20,000km on GDI engines.

BG Platinum 44K is added to the fuel system and cleans injectors, intake valves, ports and combustion chamber deposits in a single treatment, restoring lost power and smoothing out the surge or hesitation that carbon buildup causes.

3. The 65-Point Inspection

Every Premium Service includes a full inspection across the Car Aircon Regas and the Law, not just the engine bay: engine condition, cooling system, brakes, suspension, steering, tyres, battery, belts, hoses, lights, wipers, air conditioning, exhaust, underbody, fluid leaks and safety components. We run the same thorough checks used in a pre-purchase inspection. We perform them on your own car to catch small issues early. This approach helps you fix problems while they remain small and affordable, rather than waiting for a breakdown.

4. Digital Inspection Report With Photos

Instead of hearing “your brakes are getting low” at pickup, you get a detailed report with photos. The report shows the current condition, any worn components, and what we recommend now. It also shows which items you should simply keep an eye on. You can see exactly what a recommendation is based on rather than taking our word for it.

5. Fluid Top-Up

We check and top up engine coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, washer fluid and other serviceable fluids as part of the service, plus AdBlue where applicable (additional charges may apply for AdBlue top-ups).

Why It Costs More Than a Basic Oil Change

A basic service replaces oil and a filter and moves on. This one adds two professional-grade treatments that take real time to run properly, a 65-point inspection carried out by a technician rather than a glance under the bonnet, and a documented report you actually keep. That’s the difference in both time and materials, and it’s why the price reflects more than an oil change with a different name.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is this the same as a log book service?

No. Log book servicing follows your manufacturer’s specific schedule for warranty purposes. You can have the Premium Service alongside a log book service or as a standalone service between intervals. It won’t affect your warranty if you complete all manufacturer-specified items on schedule.

How often should I get the Premium Service done?

We designed the Premium Service to match your next scheduled maintenance interval. Most vehicles need it every 10,000km. However, you should follow your manufacturer’s recommended interval, such as 15,000km or 12 months, whichever comes first.

Is the engine oil flush safe for my car specifically?

In the large majority of cases, yes. The exception is an engine with already heavy sludge buildup, which we’ll flag during the inspection rather than treat automatically, since the manufacturer’s own guidance advises against it in that specific situation.

Will the fuel system treatment fix a check engine light?

Only if it was caused by deposit-related hesitation or misfire, which does happen. It won’t resolve a light caused by a sensor or ignition fault, and your inspection report will tell you which one it looks like.

What makes the inspection different from a normal service check?

Scope and documentation. It covers 65 points across the whole car, not just what’s being serviced, and you get photos and a written report rather than a verbal summary at pickup.
