Ultimate Car Expert is an independent workshop at 4/4 Curragundi Rd, Jindalee. We are a Repco Authorised Service Centre, which means the parts we fit are covered by Repco’s national warranty and our technicians are trained to the network’s diagnostic standards. Our air conditioning licence is AU66890.
We are not a franchise and we are not owned by a dealer group. That matters because it means the person quoting your brake job is the person doing the work, not a service writer on commission.

There is a gap in Brisbane’s west between dealerships (expensive, won’t touch cars outside their brand) and backyard operators (cheap, no warranty, no recourse when something goes wrong). We sit in the middle on purpose: dealer-grade equipment, Repco’s parts network, warranty that holds up, and pricing that doesn’t pretend every job is a major repair.

What qualifies us
Every technician in the workshop holds a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or higher. Our senior tech handles timing chains, head gaskets, and diagnostics on European vehicles. We maintain:
- Repco Authorised Service accreditation — audited annually.
- QLD Approved Inspection Station — we issue safety certificates for private sales and re-registrations.
- ARC-accredited AC technicians (licence AU66890) — required by law for any refrigerant work.
- Log book servicing approval for every major manufacturer represented in Australia.
How we work
Three things we commit to on every job:
- You see the quote before we start: If diagnosis reveals a bigger problem than what you booked for, you get a phone call with a price, not a surprise on the invoice.
- Workmanship warranty: 12 months or 20,000 km on the labour, plus the Repco parts warranty on anything we fit. If our work fails in that window, you bring the car back and we fix it on our cost.
- Plain English: Your repair report explains what we did, what we found, and what is coming up in the next 10,000 km. No acronym salad.
